Drug Discovery and Selection – When Chemical Biology meets Drug Design

RICT 2013, the 49th International Conference on Medicinal Chemistry, will take place on July 3-5, 2013 in Nice (France). The scientific programme will focus on "Drug Discovery and Selection - When Chemical Biology meets Drug Design", covering the main stages of modern drug discovery:
- Target Identification and Validation
- Novel Innovative Therapeutic Approaches
- Hit-to-Lead, Lead-to-Drug Candidate
- ADME-Tox
- Case Studies

SCT 2013 - Fall one-day thematic meeting

Chemical Biology: contribution to therapeutic innovation. – A new role for chemistry?

The next fall one-day thematic symposium of the SCT (the French Society for Medicinal Chemistry) will be held in Romainville very close to Paris (on metro line 11), France on November 26, 2013. The specific theme of the meeting will be Chemical Biology: contribution to therapeutic innovation. – A new role for chemistry?
The aim of the symposium is to illustrate new trends in Chemical Biology covering different aspects such as studies on isolated protein / receptor, on cells, and applications to patients (Translational Research), with an emphasis on the pivotal role of chemists in this area.
