Mid-term Review (3rd Project Meeting)
EU-OPENSCREEN's Mid-term Review Meeting (3rd Project Meeting) took place on 4 July 2012 in Vienna, hosted by the CeMM institute.
The meeting was attended by members from all countries participating in the infrastructure, as well as its European Commission Project Officer, Christos Vasilakos, and an external reviewer from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Dr Vasiliki Sarli. Also attending were representatives from newly-acceded partners from Belgium, Romania and Italy.
At the close of the meeting it was announced that EU-OPENSCREEN's new slogan has been selected by a Consortium-wide vote as ‘Chemical Keys for Life’s Locks’. This was a suggestion made by Laurence Lafanechère and Renaud Prudent and they have been awarded a 1-year subscription to Nature Chemical Biology, as sponsored by AIMS Scientific Products GmbH, Wolfenbüttel, Germany.
